Field Day 2001

 
From the desk of VA3JET Jerry (aka the Jet),

Well Folks "Feild Day 2001" was a big success for the Sarnia White Cane Cub this year thanks to the efforts of Cliff (VE3CLI) & Chuck (VE3LRJ) who set everything up. Chuck is a very active volunteer with the white-caner's, that's when he's home. Chuck's work takes him all over the globe.He knows all the white-cane hams and was one of the guys's that got the first group on the air. 

It was a very good day all the way with two phone rigs and Cliff's (Hotwater 8) we worked most of the bands and made lots of contacts.We had beautiful weather and a great time was had by all finishing up with steaks and trimmings for all. Our hats go off to Cliff (VE3CLI) , Chuck (VE3LRJ) and their friend,s for putting all this
together, without them it would not have been possible.
