Sarnia White Cane Center
White Cane Week 2004
Promoting Amateur Radio for the blind & visually impaired.
This year the 'Sarnia White Cane Center' had an 'Open House' and 'Club Dedication' to recognize the founder of the Club, Cliff Seed (VE3CLI) who became a silent key January 20th 2003. Hams from the Sarnia/Lampton County dropped in to say hello & talk to members. Gil Finley (VE3DFU) and Frank Baugh (VE3FBH) were in attendance.

During the Open House we had a discussion on how the CNIB Amateur Radio Assoc. and amateur radio as a whole can benefit blind and visually impaired people. The amateur radio station, VE3SWC at the White Cane Center can be used by anyone holding a valid amateur radio license.
