On Sept. 5th Bill VE3GPR & his good wife made a trip to Sarnia.. Well, at a campsite just outside Sarnia! Cliff VE3CLI was under the weather at the time, but his family took the bull by the horns so to speak and got the gang together for a barbecue with Bill and his wife as guests of honor. Everybody got to meet Bill and his wife and Bill got to eyeball all of the gang and then some..Cliff is something else! He knew Bill was coming, but he hadn't planned on getting ill before his arrival. He had his good friend Chuck VE3LRJ to get the ball rolling. All the whitecane hams were contacted and all showed up to welcome Bill and his lovely wife to Sarnia Lampton County. Cliff couldn't make it but by golly his family showed up in full force AS ALWAYS and everybody had a great time. It was very excellent barbecue with all the trimmings, nobody went home hungry....tummies were full and lots of fellowship. Barb, Cliff's daughter is always there when the VE3SWC get together along with the rest of the family. He can certainly be proud of them, I know they are of him. A good time was had by all, when Cliff and his family get involved everything goes smoothly and they are always there for VE3SWC. VA3JET Jerry
